The design harmonises warmth and elegance, marrying traditional aesthetics with modern functionality to create an immersive, multi-zoned hospitality experience.

A layered spatial strategy mirrors the vibrancy and conviviality of an Italian piazza. Diverse seating arrangements from intimate private booths to alfresco-style configurations and a dramatic mezzanine lounge offer guests both privacy and social engagement. The mezzanine, thoughtfully integrated despite site constraints, expands capacity while preserving intimacy, reflecting the fluid dining culture of Italy. Central to the theatricality of the space is an exposed pizza lift, an engaging feature that not only enhances operational efficiency but also invites guests into the craft of the kitchen.
The project’s innovation lies in its fusion of tradition with modern functionality. The custom-designed pizza lift not only solves operational challenges but also enhances guest engagement through theatrical storytelling. The mezzanine level optimises space without compromising intimacy, addressing post-pandemic dining shifts. Bespoke, globally curated elements including South African artwork, Turkish furniture, Australian fabrics and UK-crafted lighting elevate the project’s exclusivity.
